Ǹkàtà Phone Pocket Bag
Named after Ǹkàtà—a bowl-shaped vessel traditionally woven to carry, sieve, and store—this piece reinterprets a familiar form into a clean, modern carry. In Udiri’s hands, Ǹkàtà becomes a quiet container of intention.
At its closure is a hand-rolled paper button, made from upcycled paper by women artisans through Udiri’s responsible production practice. Small in scale, it holds the piece together—both function and signature.
A lightweight, adjustable Danish paper cord strap brings ease and water-resistance, while a padded interior insert keeps essentials protected. The silhouette is intimate, designed for daily movement and close carry.
Select editions feature Udiri’s footprint motif—a mark of continuity and presence.
